What’s In My Sims 4 Mods Folder (With Direct Links)

This is a comprehensive list of every single mod I currently have in my game.

I wouldn’t say I play with a ton of mods but it definitely may seem excessive to a vanilla player. The largest my mods folder has ever been is 65 GBs and, believe it or not, that’s quite light compared to my comrades. At the time of this post I’m currently sitting comfortably at 11.7 GBs.

I did recently delete my entire mods folder so I’m slowly adding mods back in as I need and/or want them. (Updated 8/17/25 – now at 23.6 GBs. This also includes CAS and Build/Buy CC but I don’t tend to add a lot of either of those.)

At the time of this post, all mods listed are compatible with the latest Enchanted by Nature EP with one exception. Sim Story mod by Oduvnix is broken as the creator is unsure how to fix it. I can’t live without it now so it’s still in my game since it hasn’t caused any major issues for me. If you delete the NPC add on file the last exception goes away.

I use so many of their mods that it’s really just easier at this point to give them their own section. If you haven’t heard of this creator, I highly recommend you just go down their entire catalog here. It’s definitely worth pledging to their Patreon as well if you have the means.

Lot Traits & Challenges

I play with a lot of multipurpose lots and I love for them to be full and for sims to use literally everything available to them. That’s where lot traits and/or challenges come in. You can really personalize the activities you want your sims to do and objects you want them to use with the help of these additions. I also use a few by LittleMsSam linked above; my little neighborhood, auto employees, and custom lot traits are ESSENTIAL!

• Insimnia – let’s eat custom lot trait this mod encourages sims to purchase food and eat
• Wicked Pixxel – City vibes lot trait collection this mod adds background NPCs to your lots
• Flauschtrud – Boarding Stable lot trait (NPC horses at your lots)
• KiaraSims4 – Skating rink, University hangout, Date lot, Basketball court

NPC & Townie Control

NOTHING IN THIS POST IS MEANT TO BE ADVICE!

This is especially pertinent for this section. I combine multiple mods that are known to conflict and therefore not recommended. I have experienced no issues (that I’m aware of) in MY GAME and have finally achieved my desired result of absolutely NO RANDOM TOWNIES EVER!!! I cannot say you will have the same results.
